Martin Beach
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Martin has extensive experience across multiple industries including the employment sector, oil and gas, renewable energy, as well as the finance sector. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with an MBA, his expertise in forging impactful partnerships and fostering respectful connections helps drive exceptional service delivery. Martin has a strong passion for developing diverse talents and creating a culture of continuous and sustainable growth within the workplace.
Leah Crawford
Senior Director of Human Resources
In South West Calgary born and raised
In shiny glass towers was where I spent most of my days
Chillin in office chairs all shiny and cool
Reviewing resumes and hiring the best of the talent pool
When a couple of people said you are doing really good
Started encouraging me to move up and I thought “I should”
So I moved further west and found a home in BC
Where I am now the Sr. HR Director of ETHOS, which is pretty wowee
With over 15 years in Human Resources, Leah brings a passion for people and a drive to create innovative strategies in Human Services.
Jan Christie
Director of Finance
Jan leads the finance team in all areas to provide accurate accounting practices for the financial health of the organization. Jan prepares financial statements for the company, and works closely with the COO and management teams of our programs, to provide financial compliance, risk and policies.
Chris Oaten
Director of Technology
Chris, diploma in Information Technology and Applied Systems, and post-graduate certificate in Instructional Design, manages the Innovative Learning Solutions team, projects, and technology needs for ETHOS. He works in collaboration with Martin in project planning and assists the team with project execution. He is also the developer of our eLearning platforms and leads the IT team, providing technical support.
Matt Vissers
Director of Programming
Matt supports the success of Program Managers and staff, and assists in implementing company strategy. His background is in entrepreneurship and business operations, beginning at ETHOS in 2020 as a Business Coach. Matt is passionate about supporting his fellow community members through ETHOS’ wide variety of employment and self-employment training opportunities.
Sara Collins
Director of Business Development and Marketing
Sara Collins, with a Bachelor of Business Administration, was awarded the Emerging Career Development Practitioner of the Year Award in 2023.
Sara’s approach to business development and marketing focuses on forging collaborations that drive positive change both internally and externally. Her strategic leadership and dedication to collaboration aim to empower individuals and organizations, fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated.
Renae Hygh
Operations Manager
Renae has been the Operations Manager since 2008, overseeing day-to-day operations for the company. With over 25+ years in administrative roles, Renae brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that assists leaders, staff, and clients by analyzing and improving operational processes to enhance productivity and efficiency. She manages office operations, maintains facilities, and provides leadership and team support.
