Our History
Since our inception in 2000, ETHOS Career Management Group has positively impacted BC and Alberta’s employment sector, delivering nearly 18,000 successful career development workshops and supporting 1,250 start-ups on Vancouver Island through our various entrepreneurship programs.
As leaders in the online training industry, we continuously innovate to enhance how organizations deliver training. Our experienced instructional designers and web developers collaborate with you to create engaging online learning content, paving the way for interactive experiences that encourage success.

I felt it appropriate to honour the past by opening with Deborah Bromley’s (former CEO & owner) opening statement from her CEO Message:

From our traditional on-site resume and interview workshops to our more high-tech digital workshops and modules, much preparation and thought has gone into every one of our services, with the intent of giving our clients every possible advantage. We believe complacency leads to atrophy and we strive to always develop the best products and services available.”

Those words continue to reflect the foundation of ETHOS today. Innovation, growth, and a commitment to excellence remain at the heart of who we are and how we serve our communities.
As Managing Director, it is both an honour and a privilege to continue building on the strong legacy established by Deborah Bromley and carried forward by Martin Beach. ETHOS has always been an organization willing to challenge the status quo, evolve with changing needs, and create meaningful opportunities for the people and communities we serve.
My own journey with ETHOS began in 2021 as the HR Manager. Within a year, I was promoted to Director of HR, and in 2025, I took on the role of Senior Director of Culture and Programs. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work alongside incredible teams across our organization, deepen my understanding of our programs and services, and witness firsthand the passion and dedication that drive ETHOS forward every day.
What makes ETHOS truly special is our people. Our strength lies in the relationships we build, the creativity we encourage, and the commitment we share to continuous learning and improvement. We recognize that the employment sector is constantly evolving, and we remain committed to adapting, innovating, and finding new ways to better support our clients, employers, partners, and communities.
