If so, you could be our next Client Services Representative/ Administrative Assistant (CSR) for our highly successful Business Works Central Alberta (BWCA) Self-Employment (SE) Program.
BWCA provides potential entrepreneurs with assistance, information, and training in the start-up and operation of their new businesses. The intent of this free 26-week Self Employment program is to ensure that business start-ups have comprehensive business plans that can withstand challenging economic conditions and remain economically viable in the long term.
As a member of the Client Services Team, the CSR/Admin plays a key role as the first point of contact for all who enter the program by phone, email, online, fax, or mail. The CSR/Admin’s main priorities are to assist all off-site clients requesting help in accessing information and services, refer clients as appropriate, and support the Client Services Team. The CSR/Admin will help with the creation of marketing materials, use Excel to track client data and create reports, work with Mobius in managing client applications,and manage and update the social media platforms. In addition to maintaining a user-friendly and welcoming reception area, the CSR/Admin provides registration services to clients, responds to inquiries from the public, and books intake and other appointments.
Essential Qualifications and Required Skills:
· Relevant Post-Secondary education in Human Services, Administration or a related field, or a combination of education, training, and experience
· Training in or well-developed computer skills (Microsoft software applications, particularly Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Publisher)
· Training in Ministry systems and Mobius preferred
· 3+ years front-line experience serving a diverse clientele in a demanding and fast-paced environment
· Extensive experience working in an online capacity
· Experience working independently, as part of a small remote Team
· Self-employment experience preferred and/or an entrepreneurial spirit
· Experience in creating and maintaining social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
· Knowledge of photo editing and content creation software
· Preference will be given to those with experience providing service to unemployed clients
