Join our team at ETHOS Career Management Group Ltd. as a Community Relations Manager for our WorkBC Centres, where you’ll play a vital role in empowering individuals and strengthening local communities through employment.
As the Community Relations Manager, you’ll lead employer and community engagement strategies that drive sustainable job placements and support inclusive workforce development. You’ll build and nurture relationships with local employers, organizations, and community partners, creating pathways that help WorkBC clients find meaningful, lasting employment.
This role blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership. You’ll guide a talented team, foster collaboration, and coordinate events and initiatives that amplify WorkBC’s presence in the community. From local hiring fairs to creative outreach campaigns, you’ll help ensure that WorkBC continues to be a trusted partner in employment and economic growth.
Essential Qualifications and Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or similar.
· 3-5 years’ experience in managerial and supervisory roles.
· Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining high-performance teams in the areas of sales, marketing, or employer/community relations.
· Demonstrated experience in personally working in a fee-for-service environment and achieving superior results.
· Demonstrated experience in holding employees accountable and focused on delivering results.
· Demonstrated experience in customer service and customer relationship management.
· Demonstrated analytical, planning, and organizational skills and experience.
· Demonstrated experience using computer applications, including CRM and Office 365 applications.
· Strong interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility to work effectively with leadership, staff, government officials, and the public.
· Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise reports.
· Demonstrated ability to maintain administrative and client records.
· Unrestricted driver’s license and use of motor vehicle.
· The selected candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
